An occupational therapist can help individuals recover, adjust, compensate, and overcome physical, cognitive, and psychosocial illnesses, diseases, and conditions that impact daily function. Through specialized evaluation and treatment techniques, the OT identifies underlying impairments, barriers, strengths, and interests while focusing on the areas most highly valued by the person. AOTS specializes in cognitive assessment, dementia management, fall prevention, home safety, and promoting maximum independence at the lowest level of care.

Stephanie Grant, M.S., OTR/L has over 30 years of experience caring for the senior population. Her specialty areas include dementia management, cognitive staging, caregiver education and support, fall prevention with special focus on vestibular rehabilitation and environmental/activity modification.
